AQUATIC LIVESTOCK
Marine Fish Sales
At Planet Ocean we do our best to provide our 'underwater friends' with the best possible habitat we can while they are awaiting their new home in your aquarium. Our fish system is centrally filtered and holds around 3000ltrs of water. It is filtered by a large protein skimmer, large automatic filter roller, trickle and sand towers and denitrification filter. The fish system is lit by high quality led lighting providing a natural daylight schedule for the fish. Although we have a good selection of fish in stock at most times we are able to order in livestock on a special request when available.
Marine Invertebrate Sales
We have a good selection at most times of marine invertebrates including snails of different species, hermit crabs, cleaner shrimps and other various shrimp species, together with other marine inhabitants like urchins and starfish.
Coral Sales
At Planet Ocean we pride ourselves on our extensive coral sales choice. From soft corals to high-end lps/sps coral colonies and frags we try to offer everything to suit both palates and pockets. We have a large centrally filtered coral system which holds around 2500ltrs of water running a large skimmer, phosphate filter, algae light reactor and also automatic filter roller together with an automatic dosing system. The system is lit by high end led lighting ensuring the corals are getting the best light possible.
Live-rock Sales
When available Planet Ocean stocks cured live-rock, which is cured on-site in our curing facility. Although we do stock man-made eco-rock which is very good at creating that reef environment, it is Planet Ocean`s view that nothing beats mother nature in the form of live-rock to start and sustain a good reef eco-system assuming that environmental factors are still adhered too.
